I was in Company 6 which won the E and the relay race one year. I was on a varsity sailing team which won the moonlight sail and I was on the crew of the three masted square rigged ship. I was regimental champion sculler. I graduated from Willard High School, Willard, Ohio as co-saludatorian. I was active in Boy Scouts with 20 merit badges needed for life rank and with Explorer ratings. I received a B.S. in physics from Case Institute of Technology with high honors. I passed the qualifier for the Ph.D. at MIT. I passed the qualifier and comprehensive for the Ph.D. at Iowa State University. I received a Ph.D. in nuclear physics from Illinois Institute of Technology. I was a student assistant in the Physical Measurments Section at the National Bureau of Standards where I did research in solid state physics. I was a scientific assistant in the Applied Physics Division at Argonne National Laboratory where I developed nuclear instrumentation. I did my thesis work in the Physics Division at Argonne National Laboratory. I was a physicist in the Physiological Measurements Division of Beckman Instruments whre I developed medical instrumentaion. I did work relationg to electroencephalographs that led to six patents. I have done programming in Fortran, Basic, assembly, C, dBase, Pascal, Paradox, DOS batch commands, Lantastic, Java, vector graphics, Perl and HTML. I have tought C and Pascal. I designed, built, and operated a facility for Cream of the Bean that produced and packaged 300 gallon batches of vegetable based soy yogert up to twice daily. I designed, built, and operated the equipment to produce up to 20,000 urine test strips daily for Chemprobe Indicatics. I have become a registered professional engineer, certified welder, licensed electrician, and private pilot. I do premises telephone wireing, computer network cabeling, and multi-hybrid fabrication and construction.
